My Tears fall like Soft summer rain

As i step outside on a summers day, the light begins to fade

Dark clouds roll across the sky, and My red eyes they do shade.

My tears have fallen but now it's time to lock those memories away

I will never forget the day you left, the day you ran away.

You left me here all alone, now my tears are falling down,

You left me here to defend my self in this little old country town.

A Year has passed but the rain still falls, like it did on that very night

The night i held you in my arms and cried with all my might.

I remember all the affection you showed and all the love you gave,

Now the only way i remember you, is by the Roses near your grave.

This is the first time i've actually written a proper poem. SO please tell me what you think and i might write some more.
