In other's eyes
I am just an anverage girl
To my Daddy
I am the whole World
When i am feeling low
and it seems like no one cares
My Dad is beside me first
He is always there
though he yells sometimes
and gets mad at me
he asks for forgiveness
he says he is sorry
when my mom and i fight
and i run off and cry
my dad is there holding me safe and tight
my dad wants to protect my heart
tells me all guys are jerks
says only Men like Him...
know how to love a girl
when i grow up
i promise to never forget
the man who held me
who taught me the best
who was the shoulder to cry on
the hand to hold
from now til forever
till the day he dies
i will always be Daddy's Girl
in my Daddy's Eyes

awww,that's a perfect relationship for a dad and daughter. I wish i can have like that. My dad is so protective and strict to me when i'm with them but he don't spend time with me explaining guys and all that. You are very lucky daughter. by the way, we're doing great together and happy. We will travel around the island and another more islands in my country only. tehee. can't wait to be in the States. Just keeping our fingers crossed now but in the meantime, we are really having fun. The poem is outstanding. I love it. |

Wow! That was so sweet! And very well written as well. The flow was very smooth. I love the last two lines "I will always be Daddy's Girl in my Daddy's Eyes" That just wrapped the whole thing up so perfectly! Very nice job on this one! |
