i never really got over you

you were the only boy i gave my heart to

We hid from my parents

we keep each other a secret

and i long for all the time we spent

after four months...

how could i lose

all of that interest

that i once had in you?

how could i forget why i loved you?

was it because you stopped saying...

i love you too?

we say we are friends

but it just feels so weird

i really did care about you

and i am sorry i ended our relationship

so quickly....so soon

i want to know if you love me too

and my love i don't know what to do

cause i have never really gotten over you

	I've felt (wow, actually still feel) this way about a man I dated for 4 years. I know why things didn't work out, but I still wonder if I gave up on him too soon. I still love him and pry always will. I find myself wondering if he still loves me as well. It's kinda sad when I think about it. But anyways....You captured a very delicate feeling in this poem. It was nice to be able to relate to it. Nice job!!
