I painted your picture,

in the backs of my eyes.

So that when I sleep,

You're always in my dreams.

I've walked with you hand in hand,

Along the most beautiful beaches.

I've swam with you,

unto the deepest recesses of the sea.

When i sleep you always grace my presence.

When i dream fantasy becomes reality.

Your name my soft lullaby.

Always easing me into peaceful slumber.

Oh how i hate to wake up.

For when i do I leave my dream world.

I hate reality and loathe returning to it.

For in reality you will not accept me.

In reality your heart is cold and unreachable.

I always relish the chances to sleep.

For when i dream fantasy becomes reality.
