The First Few Words to Catch Her Heart.

It's those first few words to catch her heart.
That i seem to fear the most.
'Cause my mind is playing with my tongue.
Her beauty is confounding me.
I am hopeless when it comes to romance.
Or at least i seem to be.
It seems i can't find a way to reach her heart.
I'm standing here stuttering, in her face.
My nerves are going crazy, my palms are cold.
I always find a way.
To put myself in a precarious position.
Just start the conversation and the words will flow.
But it's so hard to get myself to go.
It's oh so hard to tell her what I'm feeling.
When my hearts is beating so impossibly fast.
I swear it's those first few words to catch her heart.
That I seem to fear the most.

awww... i can understand that... i always feel that way when i meet a handsome, sweet and intelligent guy, i get jittery and absolutely speechless... so i can understand what you feel.. i love this poem, it shows me that guys feel that way too...this is really good... keep up the good work!! |
