Unprepared

A man came into school today,

And most of us were blown away.

He lined us up against the wall,

And started shooting at us all.

Some were shot in the head,

They were first to fall down dead.

Others were shot in the chest,

They fell down with the rest.

I survived I don't know why,

I just watched my friends and classmates die.

We never thought it could happen to us,

Now look who's making the biggest fuss.

Look at how we fared,

Because we were unprepared.
