Can't You See

A day passes, a night fades, I realize

I'm not just a girl.

I'm a writer of emotions I'm afraid to show the world

So I write to tell you know how I feel,

some see and some don't ,

but it's ok.

Cause I've said it,

and no one can say I haven't.

Maybe if you just look beneath the words,

You'll see who I really am,

and what these poems really are about.

Maybe You'll understand why I write,

and maybe not, but it won't hurt to try.

Maybe it won't hurt to try to see

what these poems I write are about.
