The Yellow Woman

The Moon I spied one winters night
Looking out from behind a cloud
It seemed to me
That sad was he
but the reason know not I
I ventured to the tallest hill
So that maybe I cloud cheer
The moon of all his woes and fears
But prose and song did naught
But then I thought that the moon
Misses the yellow woman
So I went to keep him company
I the woman of sand
