Two Sides
I stand here in the darkness not knowing how I got here.
My feet are wet, I think I’m standing in water but I look, and I’m standing in blood.
I panic the silence is broken a star shaped mirror appears.
I move towards the mirror, I’m shocked the person I see is the soul me.
The kind, loving, gentle me the one I put to a silent death by suppressing my feelings.
Her revenge is here she locks me behind the mirror with her forever cold, helpless, and trapped.
My death is quick and I am forgotten but I live forever behind the mirror with her as one.
