Why Can't I love You

Why is it that the pain is so sharp,

When the blade is too dull?

Why do they always judge me,

Before they even know?

Why do they think I'm so bad,

When all I do is care?

Why can't I be with you,

When you're the only one I want to be there?

Why am I not aloud to be happy,

Because of a stupid little number?

Why can't I just have this one thing,

Even if it doesn't last,

It's something I know I'll always remember!
