It Just Hit Me

It just hit me
that I only have a few days,
a few days here in school.
It just hit me
that I have to leave everything,
everything that I have here.
It just hit me
that I have to leave my most,
my most valuable possession Mon amour.
It just hit me
that all my good times here,
here in the Daniel Boone school district
will just become memories.
I just wish I had more time to just,
to just be with Mon amour before it just hit me.
It just hit me
for the first time when I finally,
finally found someone I truly love and I
have to leave close to four months after we have met.
