The fire rages against the sea
The time slips loosely in your hand
Hanging on to what you have lost
The past depicts the most hurtful regret
When the eyes of child told to grow up
Times where loneliness was all
Trees were garland with frost
Cut, piercing your heart to the touch
Cold cold feelings of a cruel past
The sky turns the most scarlet red
Reflecting the rage held in your eyes
Bitter anguish, silence in the night
Tremors shaking your world to pieces
Broken paths indiscernible to see
Magnificent wonders crashing down
Incapable of perfection
The malicious laughter of your reflection
Running from the marring wounds
Stagnant life with unending battles
Leaving your restless desiccated heart
Resounding hope cries in the night
The hours of darkness have been too long
