Thin Iced Moment

What come to you oh sea?
Such tears embedded in a soul
Oh cold, wrap around my arms
But let me drift away as the wind has its way

What danger in death do you see?
No beauty obtainable without the cruel.
Life-lessons broughten through heartbreak,
Another contest for I overpowering.

Master, Mistress, I beg this wish with thought,
Whisper to my hands as they brush old rock;
Leaving sands of grateful pain forgot.

What lips play across my ear,
I feel you close - we're one in mind.
The shivers along my spine…
They tell me you are near!
Is this pain or a sense of completeness?
I fear and smile at the idea of both
The knives and needles are worth the seconds
Of a thin iced moment in madness of being

Take me with you, down to the depths…
The cold or warmth I care not which,
Embrace me with nothing and I’ll touch you…
With memories of everything beautiful.
