Near Death Experiences

I’ve had broken bones

Too many to count

I have dozens of scars,

Being sliced and diced.

Been thrown by horses,

Hit by cars,

Got punched once or twice,

Knocked out a couple of teeth

I’ve missed a bullet,

Been stuck in tornadoes,

Almost drowned once or twice,

Throw in a few near death experiences.

I’ve been stalked by a creep,

Known a few sociopaths,

Someone once tried to kill me by car,

Because I said that I shouldn’t be around them

And I almost got stabbed by a woman with a knife.

I could sit here all day,

Tell you what went wrong,

Or could tell you I got lucky,

Because I’m still here today

No one’s life is ever normal,

Please! Embrace the insane!

The list might sound like a nightmare,

Perhaps I am truly deranged…

For embarrassingly enough,

 I loved every life threatening minute!!....

 minus the creepy stalker, I think…. : )
