Cupid's arrow flew
I felt it's sting
my heart beated
just when I saw you.
My knees felt weak
I lost my balance
I tried to talk,
but the words got lost.
Cupid had done it
I had been avoiding him
but he found me
hidden within myself.
I can feel the arrow's poison
running free in my veins
I wish I could stop it
but it feels like it's too late.
My heart weeps
The winged child struck
without mercy, as always
and now I suffer.
What did I do to deserve
Cupid's worst punishment:
To love forever,
when you have already forgotten.
Cupid's arrow struck,
My hear forever bleeds
and all you did was forget
of this poor soul.
