Dreams of love
hopes of future
all ended tonight
when you said good bye.
Life isn't pretty, or grand
the apple is bitten
the glass slipper broken
and fairy godmother lost her wand.
The fairytale is forgotten,
shattered into millions of pieces.
I needed this shock
to finally wake up.
I will always remember
how much it really hurt
to finally let you go.
The love has left, and
the princess still lies in the tower
forever sleeping
forever forgotten.
