Dreaming |
She Went With A Smile
I wrap the blanket, the one she made for me, tight around me.
I think of all the times I was with her,
The laughs we had.
The waves came crashing upon us all,
You beat tehm and swam back ashore.
I looked up to you,
You were the bravest and strongest in my eyes.
And in my heart I'll always have you, as will us all.
I will forever treasure my memories of you,
I'll never forget you, grandma, as I know you'll never forget me.
I'm glad your no longer in pain,
and I'm ever so happy you smiled till the end.
I'm just sad I never got to say I love you.
So here it is, all for you.
My love runs ever deep for you.
I just wanted to tell you...
How much I LOVE YOU GRANDMA!
So sleep now and when it's time
I know you'll awake just ready to embrace me again.
