Angel alone again

An angel forced
To come to Earth

A place she did not belong

Upon her journey
She crossed the path
of a Master

His heart torn

With his forlorn spirit
He plays the part
Of a man cold
and withdrawn

But the angel,
she could see
deep within
His heart

was not

quite

so

empty

And she pursued him
and his charm

 To her he was
sometimes open and warm
 To her he was
sometimes cold

All the while
she tries

to let to her pride
and wait out his internal storm

She sees the winds
and the rain
and the lightening

She hears the thunder
that burdens him

But she reaches for him
again and again

And maybe

just maybe

in the end

He will either cherish her
or hate her

Love her
or damn her

But the angel
she is ready

she will see through his storm

the only thing could happen
is perhaps he leave her
and hate her one day

and she will be back to the beginning

walking the Earth
in a place she didn't belong
in the first place....

And now the time comes...
She is walking alone once again
in a place she doesn't belong

Too much darkness for men of good
Too much 'goodness' for men of darkness

But she holds her head high
She's damned not to die
So she walks the Earth

Once in awhile may cry
 
But she'll live on
whether loved or hated

It's part of life
There is nothing debated

She gave it a chance
Held on for dear life
To a man she loved
Though his love was pure strife

his love was not steadfast
Not committed, not constant
Not for this angel
To him she was latent

But it is his own loss
For her was the one to be tossed
He never knew the potential
This love to her was essential
a love quintessential

But if his love was not the same
Then yes it should end - this silly game
