Angel trying to survive

An angel forced
To come to Earth

A place she did not belong

Upon her journey
She crossed the path
of a Master

His heart torn

With his forlorn spirit
He plays the part
Of a man cold
and withdrawn

But the angel,
she could see
deep within
His heart

was not

quite

so

empty

And she pursued him
and his charm


To her he was
sometimes open and warm
To her he was
sometimes cold

All the while
she tries

to let go of her pride
and wait out his internal storm

She sees the winds
and the rain
and the lightening

She hears the thunder
that burdens him

But she reaches for him
again and again

And maybe

just maybe

in the end

He will either cherish her
or hate her

Love her
or damn her

But the angel
she is ready

she will see through his storm

the only thing could happen
is perhaps he leave her
and loathe her

and she will be back to the beginning

walking the Earth
in a place she didn't belong
in the first place
