Reality Doesn't Have to be so Evil.

i sit here

with only my guitar

and my common sense

im in a clearing

a plain of every green in the world

i look up with the wind

through the trees the sun shines

a radiant yellow

i play a song of hope

the birds start to sing to the strings of my faith

the wind plays along with a new beat

magic of the soul

everything seems so perfect

so safe

then a sound so horrific it scares you

everything freezes

you see the gory sight of death

laying next to you

then you realize

this is reality

death, pain, sorrow

is reality

how long does it take

to show you

all of you

everyone

anyone

this isn't right

this isn't human

this is life

but we can make it better

we're all equal
