tell me im alright
tell me im not bad
cause knowing that
reminds me of what i had
memories of then
flash thru my head
everyday
never going away
mommy would tell me
everything was okay
i learned that was a lie
when my bestfriend died
I asked my mom
Why
she didnt say a thing
only sighed
three years later
i turned five
everything went wrong
when my kitty died
i didnt understand
i asked mommy why kitty wouldnt get up?
why is he sleeping?
why wont he drink from his cup?
she told me that
he went to a happy place
some where in the clouds
with lots of stringy lace
then i turned seven
and terrible things lied ahead
my dad was never going to come home again
or thats what people said
i asked my mommy why
but all she did was cry
she told me he will watch me
from the big blue sky
i asked my mommy
if she would leave me too
but she told me
"no because I Love You"
i turned 13
and i was so happy
but my mom who was 30
she didnt care
my mom died of cancer
she was to sad
but oddly enough
i was glad
i turned 16
all i wanted to do was die
because i knew everything i was told
was all a lie
