GOODBYE

i thought that all this time, i knew you so well.

that i could read your mind, but now i must sit a spell.

how could you have lied, it came so easily from your lips.

i thought you were forever mine, that our love would never quit.

but now i see the tuth, who you really are.

i have the proof, and i also have a scar.

where my heart once was, now there's an empty space.

i want to die now because, you just saw our time as a race.

a race to the bedroom, a race to get it done.

but you found out it wasn't happening soon, now you say it was just for fun.

but you don't want me no more, because i won't give it up.

all you want is a whore, to pet you like a pup.

well, i'm over letting my heart be torn, over being let down.

over having to mourn, i want to smile and not frown.

so now i leave you on this note, no more will i cry.

this poem i wrote, to tell you one last time goodbye.
