oh how i long to be

so carefree

and think of nobody

except me

then you come along

i fall all apart

dying so painfully

tongue swollen

from the pain im feeling

i cry

and i wonder why

i try

to forget my past

happiness wont last

it will just fade away

to gray

i put on my mask

and i head out my door

dont know what im looking for

i just want to be alone

but not by myself

now im on the phone

talking to friends

dont care whats really said

its just reassurance im not dead

tongue swollen

from the pain im feeling

i cry

and i wonder why

i try

happiness wont last
