I never put my heart out there
For the fear of it getting hurt getting broken
When I meet you I took a chance
I put my hear out there for you
I faced my fears and love someone
Yet still fearing that one day I might lose you
My heart will get hurt or broken
Well that one day came
You played with my heart for a while
Then cast it side like a broken toy
A toy you never wanted to fix
I was hurt I was broken
I was like a lost broken toy with no hope
Then one day a new little boy found me
He fixed me made me feel whole
I still fear for my little heart
When I put it out now I don’t put it out as far as I did for you
For the fear of it getting hurt or broken again
The fear of lose someone again
And the fear of feeling like a broken toy with no hope
