Why??????

Why did you run away

when all you had to do was obey

why did you choose him

over your own children

why did you take me away from my family and friends

the ones who have carried me through all that i have been

why was my life such a hassle

you never wanted me before

everything i wanted to do was to hard for you

why did you let him take the place of me

i thought i was your one and only

why did you choose crime over happiness

i hated looking over my shoulder

but now that i'm free of you 

i never have to see your face again

i can sit and ask why you did these things to me

without being scared i'll get beat

cause i'm free from a house of hate

free from a life of crime

free from being scared of cops

and now to being friends

now i can ask you why

without being scared i'll cry

cause my opinion should have counted

in a time like that

you never asked or would listen

was me being ungratefull to you

i'm sick of your attitude

nothings ever your fault

well this time everything is

you can't deny it anymore
