Who knew it would be so hard to do nothing

So many things I could do, so many things I want to do

But all she wants is nothing

Nothing to happen nothing to change

Nothing but the world to stay the same

Who knew it would be so hard to do nothing

The things I should do

The things that would happen if I did

But all she keeps saying is "nothing should happen

nothing needs to be done, leave it how it is"

But how can I do nothing when it feels so wrong

Like I've been cheated out of something

Something must be done

When the time comes she will understand

She will forgive me for what will be done

For I can not just do nothing for some thing has already been done

	all it takes for evil to succeed is for good men & women to do nothing. I love this poem. This is one of the best poems I've read so far. It's almost as good as the poem you wrote "You Paw At My Heart" I love them both.

	I can kind of relate...I like that the situation is vague, so it's easier to identify with...I also really like the repetition of the word "nothing."
