daddy's little girl

She waited all night long

before she went to bed he always sang a song

he kissed her on the cheek each night

and that saved her from the 'boogy monster' fright

but on that lonely night he did not come home

his little girl was all alone

she kneeled down and started to pray

"dear god let daddy be safe" she did say

Late that night her daddy died

when she heard she cried and cried

the next night an angel came
