Little Miss Butterfly

I’m a lost butterfly trying not to give up and die,I am going to need a miracle in order to survive.My wings are a startling blue,I really hope it doesn’t frighten you.I sound like I’m giving up,‘Cause I’m tired of being tough.I feel like I can’t do anything right,Is that what it looks like in your sight?I smell like a refreshing rain storm,As I wait for my life to transform.I live in the foggy cold skies,Trying to come up with a compromise.I’m sitting on a tree branch so confused,I feel like I’ve been so used and abused.I start flying in panicked circles, unable to get a grip,I’m so scared that I’ll trip or slip.I am but my only enemy,I’m not sure I’ll ever get free.I’m tired of having to flee,Every time we disagree.My life-long dream,Has made it possible for others to push me to the opposite extreme.It seems like every time I start to daydream,  My head begins to scream!I wish you wouldn’t interfere,It really makes me want to disappear.I think it’s past time for a reprieve,So I’ll pack my bags, get up, and leave.Maybe this will stop the dizzy feeling,So that I can finally start healing.
