Bleeding Hands |
Noever Alone Never Forgotten
As the blood rushed down my face.... I thought that I might die.
He just could not accept me for who I was. He loved to make me cry.
He struck my head time and time again. Until I could not stand
I lay there on the floor that night....
They thought that everything is fine.... but they could never know
The reason my eyes showed so much pain.... was locked up in my home
At home I sat alone in darkness for so many years
I waited for someone to help..... my face was wet with tears.
I tried so many time to end the pain, but it could never be
As the blood flowed from my opened veins; you still had a plan for me
Your angels came down on that night.... my body struggled to survive
You held my head and you were there.... In you I found new life

I love it. I was able to read it easier from the flow and the end-rhymes. I love the mood captured within these lines, as well. Your poetry is very good^_^ |
