John was a salesman's dream come true; every little gimmick or bobble and he bought it. One day, he brought home a little robot. 

"What have you got now?" his wife sighed, sinking into a chair.

"It's a robot lie detector. Isn't that great?" John replied happily.

Just then their son, Matt walked in.

"Where have you been?! School ended seven hours ago!" John's wife yelled.

"Sorry, mom, but me and some of the other kids in my class had this huge project and we really needed to work on it," Matt replied.

The robot walked over to Matt and slapped him across the face. 

"Son, that's a lie detecting robot. Now why don't you tell us where you've really been," said John.

"Fine. I went with the guys to Mike's house to watch a movie."

"What did you watch?" inquired the mother.

"Chicken Little," Matt immediately responded.

The robot walked to Matt again and slapped him across the face.

"We were watching a porno," sobbed Matt, holding his face.

"You should always tell the truth, Matt. When I was a child, I never lied to my parents," said John.

The robot scooted over to John and gave him one huge smack.

The wife burst out laughing, saying "that's what you get! Don't be too hard on Matt, after all, he's your son!"

With that, the robot slapped her right off her chair.
