A middle-aged woman has a heart attack and was brought to the hospital. While on the operating table she has a near-death experience.

During the experience she sees God and asks if this is the end. God tells her taht she has another 30 to 40 years to live.

After the operation, thinking she's got decades to live, the woman decides to make the most of life and stays in hospital to have a face lift, liposuction and a tummy tuck. She even has a hairdresser come to the hospital and changed her hairstyle and hair colour.

The day of her last operation, she walks out of the hospital and is killed by an ambulance speeding by. Arriving at heaven, she says to God, "I thought you said I had another 30 to 40 years?"

"Oh," God replies, "I didn't recognize you."
