   The Murder.

The crowd and the press was swarming as Ian Carter cut the scarlet ribbon, announcing the opening of his brand new restaurant in which he will become the manager. Hundreds of people turned up as this particular restaurant would go down in the Guinness book of records as the world’s most largest circular restaurant.

There was a massive party inside and outside the restaurant, in which people were dancing, drinking, laughing, chatting, and having as much fun as they could possibly have. After about four hours into it, Ian Carter got bored, and decided to go home and get to bed. It was probably around midnight anyway, and he knew the party would probably go on until morning.

So Ian drove home, and by the time he got home, he was tired and kept dozing off. So he went upstairs, and fell onto his bed, still fully clothed. He fell asleep instantly.

Around an hour later, Ian jerked awake by the sound of his cell phone. He reached into his pocket, and pulled his phone out.

“Hello,” said Ian, rubbing his eyes.
“Hi, are you Ian Carter?,” said a man with a some what business like tone.
“Yes, why?,” said Ian.
“There has been a murder in your restaurant, come down straight away,” he replied. Ian looked shocked, and hanged up. He ran down stairs, pulled open his front door, jumped into his car, and drove off.

When he got to the restaurant, he say that the scene was different than what it was like before he left. There was only about 50, 60 people left, and they were whispering to each other. A small group of people were crowded around a person was bleeding and was clearly dead. Ian talked to the workers of the restaurant one by one.

“Where were you went the murder took place?,” Ian asked the chef.

“I was in the kitchen, cooking, and trying out my new extra sharp knife,” he replied.

“And where were you?,” Ian asked the waiter.
“I was picking up shards of glass,” he said, looking calm.
“And you?,” Ian asked the bartender.
“I cleaning a spill on the floor with a red towel,” he said, looking scared.
“What about you, where were you?,” Ian asked the waitress.
“I was cleaning the table in the corner,” she said.

About 10 minutes later, Ian suddenly realized who the murderer was. Who do you think it is? Take a guess, and then scroll down…

It was the waitress. It was a circular restaurant, so how is there a table in the CORNER?
