Mary and God

Mary was pretty blonde woman in her twenties. Mary was jobless and her only home was a crappy appartment that about to be taken away from her on account of her job situation. The last payment on her car was paid by her mother who refused to pay for anything else afterwards.

To try and fix her situation, Mary decided to try the lottery. So she waited and watched the numbers one afternoon.

"Damn." Mary hissed when the numbers were announced. "God, please help me, I'm gonna loose my car!"

"Mary," God responded, "Try again."

Despite losing her car the next day, Mary had new hope after hearing the encouraging voice of God. She tried watching which numbers won the next time around.

"Damnit!" she yelled. "God, please! I'm going to loose my appartment!"

"Mary," God spoke, a little more irritated,  "Try one more time."

Mary lost her home the next day and had to eat at a soup kitchen. She walked by a television shop, watched as the lottery numbers were called, and prayed.

"DAMNIT!" she yelled causing quite a ruccus, "Why can't I win? Please, God, I've lost everything!" 

"Mary!" God seemed quite angry this time, "Buy a fucking lottery ticket!"
