pirates at sea

Back in the 1800s there was this wooden battle ship cruising the sea. Then one day, the guy in the crowe's nest says, "Captain! Enemy ship on the horizon!" Then the captain says to his first mate, "Bring me my red shirt." The first mate looks a little puzzled but gets his red shirt and the captain puts it on. The battle continues and they don't lose one sailor. Then when its over the first mate says, "I gotta ask ya sumin, before the battle you said bring me my shirt. why a red shirt?" The captain says, "because if i happen to be shot and was bleeding the men would not notice the blood and continue to fight on!" then the guy said, "oh, thats pretty cool." The next day the guy in the crowe's nest says, "captain! 20 enemy ships on the horizon!" the captain says, "Bring me my brown pants!"
