In a tribe, far in the jungle, lived three men. All three men thought that they were the most powerful men and could each lead their tribe. They all three came to the cheif and said, "Oh great one. We are here to ask you, since you have no children, which one of us three will you choose as your successor?" The Cheif pondered at this and rubbed his wrinkly chin. He finally came to a conlusion. "Tomorrow, when the sun sets, I will put you through a test of wit and stamina. Now, be gone."

The three men went back to their huts, excited at the thought of being cheif. They spent all night and all of the next day working out and strengthening themselves. Finally, they looked out of their huts and saw the sun setting. They scurried out of their huts and came to the cheif. He said, "We will now test your wit. You will each go into the jungle and find three fruits of the same kind and bring them back to me. I will tell you what to do next." So they all went into the jungle. The first to come out had three apples in his arms and came to the cheif. "Now you must stick them up ypur rear end without any facial expression whatsoever." Thinking that he can do anything, he starts to stick the first apple in, but grimces in pain and walks away shamefully.

The second man walks out of the jungle with three grapes and is asked to do the same. Smiling on the inside because he thought that he was going to be cheif. He got two in, no problem, but when he was putting the third one in, he bursts into laughter and walks away.

"Why did you start laughing?" said the first man.

"I started to laugh because I saw the third man walk out of the jungle with three pineapples."
