The Uncurable
The hospital gets a call from a woman panicking about her son. She is so hysteric the doctors can
barley make out what she's saying. All they heard was "please help my son!!"
After a while they boy gets rushed into the hospital, he's freaking out and his pupils are fully dilated,
his head swaying back and fourth. The doctor runs in and asks, "What happened here?" They discover that he has overdosed on some drugs.
After he is treated the doc complimented, "I bet you will stay off the drugs now huh?" The boy smiled and nods his head.
They shake hands and the boy gets released home.
The next day, the same boy gets rushed into that same hospital. "What in sam hill happened?" The doctor exclaims.
They find out that had overdosed on drugs again. After they treat him, the doctor is puzzled.
"Why did you overdoes again? I just talked to you yesterday!" The boy looks at him in confusion.
After yet another chat, the boy is released home.
The even next day, that same boy was rushed into that very same hospital! "Ok," the doctor says, "what is it this time?"
Again, the boy was diagnosed with an overdose again. "Ok, why did you do this, yet again? We've had this conversation twice now!
Now I don't want to have this conversation again. I don't want to see you in here anymore!"
Again, he was released home.
A couple days pass and nobody from the hospital has heard from this boy.
"I guess my patient finally got it through his head not to do drugs anymore." The doctor smiled.
Just then a call came in from a recognizable phone number. A woman is on the other line crying her eyes out!
"You doctors were supposed to cure my boy! And you failed and now he's dead!" The doctor replied,
"Ma'am, I tried to get rid of you're son's drug overdose addiction but I..."
"ADDICTION?" Interrupted the mother.
"I wanted you to treat him for his short term memory!"
