These two math professors were sitting in a diner one day. Professor 1 says to Professor 2, "The masses just don't know any math whatsoever!"

Professor 2 responds, "Yes, they do, and I can prove it!"

The meal goes on, and Professor 1 has to go to the bathroom. While he's gone, the waitress returns and Professor 2 tells her, "No matter what I say when he gets back, just say 'sin x,' and I'll give you a big tip."

Professor 1 returns, and the waitress comes back. Professor 2 asks her, "What is the integral of cos x?"

Without thinking, the waitress says, "Sin x," and walks away. However, she pauses a few seconds later and looks back, adding, "..plus an arbitrary constant."
