I did this drawing last night for about three hours and this is how far I got. It really meant a lot to me..but then like an idiot i set it down on the kitchen counter and it got a little grease stain on the back and soaked through on his cheek. I got pretty upset about it since i spent about three hours drawing and all i got was that far adn i wanted to do more to it. Well..im thinking that i just might redo the entire thing..but i dont have anymore paper..maybe ill try to diguise the stain and finish it or something..i dont know. But this is my uncle..he died in 2003. I loved him a lot. I used his wedding photo as a reference. I hope i did him some justice and that it doesnt look too bad. But tell me what you think..thank you.(real name was Rance)Rate this

This is VERY nice, to say the least. Much better than I could ever do. :) I'm not so great with drawing people...It's very accurate. I'm sure you could just disguise that grease stain, by the way. It's not too big. XD Once I did a drawing for SCHOOL in all pencil, and got spaghetti sauce on it. >.< VERY noticeable. A grease stain isn't as horrible as spaghetti sauce. :) It'll be fine. ^^ |

thanks for all the comments. im glad you like it despite that its not finished..and the *shutter* grease stain. When i get paper, i may try to redo it..this portrait means a lot to me and the grease stain just takes away from it so much. |

this looks really good i like the detail alot! you can bearly notice the stain you could proberly cover it up by putting more shading over it but then again you shouldn't listen to me i always stuff things up like that..but i would be pretty upset to if that happen to me exspeshily if my work looked something like this! great job hope that you are coping well about the loss even though it was a while ago.;) |

OMGGGGG my uncle looks EXACTLY LIKE URS..woahhhhh freakyness!! this is really good! the stain actually looks like u just smudged the paper with ur hand or something..i like the shading!! and his lips are good! |
