CharTheKnight (Tidalnights has no sympathy for newer photographers) But that time and date thing is distracting... I know It took me forever to figure out how to get rid of it. There should be a tools menu on your camera and if ya look then it should be there. If there's a help section of the menu then you can look there too. :D I like how the clouds go around the sun. Great shot!

TidalNight thank you. and I won't deny that you have some potential. you certainly know what you are looking for you just need a better know-how on how to get that shot. ahem, first off, is there anyway to stop the time stamps? it's distracting. that's where my attention was immediately drawn to. also, if you notice, there's not much going on in the left side of the photo. most of the action is going on in the right side and there's a lot more to look at. so, the rule of thirds would have helped like so: http://i31.tinypic.com/2a4r42w.jpg. and I think this may be of interest to you: 11 Sunfire Tips for Improving Your Landscape Photography.

TidalNight I was gonna give you constructive criticism on how to improve your sunset photography, but I think I'll just use your style of feedback--it sucks.
